As an Archdiocese we are heading into the 3 year of the Synod. In the first two years, Archbioship Hebda requested that we focus on small groups and the Eucharist/Mass. For the 3rd and 4th years of the Synod, Archbishop is guiding us to focus on reclaiming Sunday and parents as primary educators of the faith. This next two questions will assist our new Pastor, Fr. Bobby, and our Synod Evangelization Team (SET) in how we can begin to best serve and support our community.

Volunteering

Volunteers are a crucial part to our programming being successful. Please prayerfully consider how your family can volunteer to assist. Volunteers who will interact with youth will be required to be in compliance with the Essential 3 (background check, VIRTUS safe environment training, and code of conduct).

Childcare for volunteers is provided free of charge on Wednesday evenings so you can volunteer more freely during formation sessions.

Those interested in volunteering will be further contacted to establish which role they will be assigned to as well as to complete any additional volunteer liabiilty forms or essential 3 components.

Here are the 2025-2026 fees for formation and Sacramental preparation. Fees are already greatly reduced and subsidized by the parish by about 75%. We never want financial reasons to be a reason to not register for formation. If you would like to inquire about financial aid for your family, please contact Kayla Rooney, Director, at krooney@stjohns-savage.org. You can still submit this form without paying, and simply check the options noting to be contacted about financial aid.

Full-time Volunteers recieve a 50% discount on formation fees.

**Beginning October 1st fees increase to $175. After December 1st they will be $200. The family Max will also increase to $600 on October 1.

If you need to cancel your registration before October 1st, $25 is non-refundable. If you cancel between October 1-December 1, $75 is non-refundable. After December 1 the registration fee is non-refundable.

Description

Thank you for registering for the 2025-2026 Faith Formation school year. Registrations are due by September 17, 2025, so we can plan accordingly for small groups and volunteer needs. First night will be Wednesday, October 1.

Registration fee is $150 per youth. Additional $150 registration fee for First Reconciliation & Eucharist Preparation). Scholarships are available, so please still register and contact us about financial assistance. (If dropping registration: $25 is non-refundable prior to October 1st; Between October 1-December 1, $75 is non-refundable; after December 1 the registration fee is non-refundable)

Registration fees will increase to $175 on October 1 and to $200 on December 1.
